Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Program

This evidence-based, fun and interactive program aims to boost cognitive function, enhance language skills, and foster social connections. A cup of tea or coffee and a light snack are provided at each session. Care partners are encouraged to drop off their loved ones and enjoy an hour of free time, perhaps at the nearby café. It is suitable for individuals experiencing mild to moderate cognitive difficulties.

Option 1:  7-Week Intensive Small Group Program

  • 14 sessions, twice per week

  • Approximately 1 hour in length

  • 5-8 participants per group, two facilitators

  • Each session follows a different theme

  • Range of activities, to cater for different ability levels and interests.

  • Prior to starting the program, we will conduct an assessment to identify your strengths, preferences, and needs, ensuring you get the most out of the sessions.

  • As the sessions are part of a structured program, unfortunately make-up classes are not available

  • On completion you have the option of attending maintenance CST

Option 2:  Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Sessions

​

  • Optional weekly sessions, designed for individuals who have completed the 7-week course and wish to continue with the program.  â€‹â€‹

Pricing:

Initial 1-Hour Assessment: $224

7-Week Group Program:

  • Total Sessions: 14 (2 sessions per week)

  • Cost: $1,050

  • Price per Class: $75

Total Cost $1274

​

These services can be FULLY FUNDED through HCP and NDIS funding.  Rebates available for Medicare CDM and Private Health Insurance. 

​

Melville residents may be able to access a $300 grant to subsidise the cost of the assessment & program.
