Understanding Dementia

Dementia Support That Finally Makes Sense

Clarity, Confidence, and Connection
for Carers - in simple language

Stop feeling overwhelmed by dementia information

You’ve been handed pamphlets, pointed to websites, and given well-meaning advice - BUT, you’re still left wondering what dementia really means for your loved one and your family.

It’s like trying to drink from a fire hydrant: too much information, too quickly, and not enough support to process it.

Our Understanding Dementia program was created to change that.

How does the program work?

This 6-week, self-directed online education program  supports carers and families to better understand dementia, feel more confident, and know where to turn for support.

It’s designed to be practical and easy to follow, with clear explanations and reassurance — without information overload or medical jargon.

The program fits around everyday life, allowing you to learn at your own pace, in your own time, and revisit key ideas when needed.

What's included?

You’ll receive:

  • 6 short videos (10–20 minutes each), released weekly.

  • Downloadable PDFs to support each topic.

  • Bonus 12-page booklet: Ten Tips to Enhance Your Brain Health.

  • Optional access to a private online community for shared learning and support.

Video and community access ends 30 days after course completion
