About Me

Hi, I'm Amanda, the founder of Absolute Care Therapy.

With over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation, I am dedicated to helping individuals living with dementia to maximize their cognitive health and maintain living independently and well at home. My background in physiotherapy and complex case management provides me with a deep understanding of the physical, functional, and psychosocial needs of each person I work with.

I hold advanced training in Gerontology (the study of aging), dementia, chronic disease management, and palliative care. I'm also a certified facilitator of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST), and am the first and only provider of this evidence-based therapy in Perth.

CST is a structured group program designed to stimulate and maintain cognitive function and language skills in people living with dementia. I am passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care that is tailored to your individual needs and goals, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our therapy sessions are conducted in a beautiful, calming, sensory-friendly, and purpose-designed therapy space, and can be provided in the comfort of your home.
