Group Cognitive Therapy

Supporting thinking, communication, confidence and connection — together

Exciting Upate

We have transitioned our small group Cognitive Stimulation Therapy program into a family-friendly program that can be done at home, using the same carefullly designed approach, program content, and resources.

Families and friends often told us how much they noticed the difference after group sessions, and asked how they could support the same outcomes at home. In response, we’ve brought everything together into one complete home package — including a printed manual, a hands-on resource pack, guided video support, and live Q&A sessions.

We’ve also created opportunities for families to connect with others, as many people told us how valuable this sense of shared understanding and connection was.

Why this works well for families

The home program offers the benefits of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy without the practical challenges that often come with attending group sessions.

There’s no need to manage busy mornings, travel, parking, or scheduled appointments. Sessions can be done when it suits you, in familiar surroundings, and at your own pace.

The program supports thinking, communication, and confidence through guided activities and conversation, while allowing families to spend meaningful time together in ways that feel relaxed and enjoable.

A natural next step

If group-based Cognitive Stimulation Therapy felt like a good fit, or you are looking to enhance your connection at home together whilst also supporting your loved one to hold onto their strengths, the home program offers the same quality and intent — with greater flexibility and ease for everyday life.

Many families tell us their only regret

is not starting sooner

What does a CST session look like?

This video highlights the activities used in our group programs. The home program builds on the same foundations, supporting thinking, communication, and connection at home.
